Hi, I'm veronica...

I am a wife, a mom, a teacher, and a photographer based in northern Utah. I was born in Marseille, France, and raised here in the States, and a lot of my appreciation for photos comes from my dad. He always brought a camera on our trips and took his time setting up each shot. The images he created ended up meaning a lot to me and shaped the way I value preserving real moments.

I started taking photos nineteen years ago when I became a mother and realized how quickly life moves. I wanted to document the everyday things that matter more than we realize at the time. As our family grew and blended, those moments became even more important. With four kids in the house, I also learned how to stay calm, work quickly, and photograph families exactly as they are, personality, chaos, and all.

I have been a teacher for eleven years, which has shaped me just as much as photography has. I have taught hundreds of people through in-home photography classes, and for the past decade I have worked in schools teaching second grade, elementary art and music, and now junior high photography. Working with kids and teenagers has taught me how to connect with people quickly and help them feel comfortable, which is essential when you are in front of a camera.

Throughout my nineteen years as a photographer, I have been grateful for opportunities to work on meaningful projects. I have been a guest on KSL Studio 5, published in Better Homes and Gardens, HGTV Magazine, Latin Connection Magazine, and Nordstrom.com, and I have created work for KSL TV, Primary Children’s Hospital, and the Imagine Dragons Tyler Robison Foundation. My images have also appeared several times on the cover of Kid’s Life Magazine.

Photography is where I feel the most grounded and the most creative. It allows me to slow down, pay attention, and connect with families in a real and meaningful way. My goal is simple: to create warm, honest images that feel true to the people in them, the kind of photographs you will be grateful to have years from now.
